It was more than a pleasure to photograph such a warm, fun, and friendly family like the Koch's. They are a wonderful example of a family that's got it all: the laughs, the looks, and of course, the love. While snapping away, I got a glimpse at just how well connected they are. Every frame seemed to have it's own story to tell with the whole family laughing and smiling making for perfectly natural looking shots. Unfortunately, for me, we only got to spend an hour together but I am more than pleased with the results as I know the Koch's will be too. Cheers to them :)

I can't think of anyone but this person when it comes to reliability, trust, honesty, and true care. This dude has seen my low's, high's, and literally everything in between. (Not to say though that there have not been friends that haven't been similar; there have been) I want to write this to just kind of display my appreciation towards everything he's ever done. I mean, this is the kid who has listened and listened and listened to me day in and day out whenever I needed it. He'd sit there and give me great feedback that definitely influenced a lot of what I thought and did with my dilemmas.

Alex Sauciuc...you've helped me to stay real. Even sometimes when you made mistakes, I could help you and then we'd both learn. It's been such an honor to spend so many years as friends and help each other out. Crystal Lake has given us some really funny and memorable times and I really couldn't ask for more when I look back. They were all genuinely perfect. And so what? We've hit rough patches but we always go back to each other and you know that for a fact! Hah!

Two weekends ago you sparked a decision in me that would affect a huge portion of my life and if it weren't for you...I would not be where I am today; which is a better place than where I was previously...by far.

I've looked up to you as my brother for many years. I've known your family, slept in your basement, had dinner with your family, and maybe even shared a few drinks with you. Through everything I've ever had to deal with...I just want to say thank you. It's people like you who give me the will to want to carry on. I love you man.

Alright first off, I'm not complaining, but this was the slowest week all year and it was even shortened.

This whole new semester thing has a really different vibe. It's not bad...but it really isn't that great either.

Whatever, like I've said, 18 weeks left and I'm not ever going to have to return to that school. So it may be 2 in the a.m. while I'm writing this but literally, T.G.I.F.

I'm seriously going to strive to bust out a really well-spent weekend. I'm sick of this rainy day/snowy/lay-around bullshit. That's surviving...not thriving. You know what I mean? You do. Alright, take it easy.

Wow, here's a new semester and the last semester of it all. High school (as cliche as it is to say) flew by. It was so quick. I remember being a freshmen, wearing tight, brown, corduroy pants and rocking Pumas like it was going out of style. However, I have to say the workload stayed the same...every year. Sorry to anybody who still has some years left, but if that's how it is for you, the destiny may repeat itself. Take advantage of your guidance counselor. I swear it can make all the difference. For example, tomorrow I'm marching in there and changing up the entire thing. This whole 7th hour lunch has seriously funked my brain up. I can't do 7th hour. It's got to be 5th like it has been every single year for me. I'm so mentally used to it. And hey, come on, I'm a senior and I should be enjoying my schedule, not loathing it. Regardless, I'm excited that I'm almost out. It'll be obviously sad to say goodbye to everyone but in the end we're all going to the same place if you catch my drift. Hopefully, I can look back and know that I helped out who I could. That's all I really give a shit about. Teenage years are a hard time for some and if you feel as if no one has your back then you can end up in a dark place. It's always good to look up to someone though because that's what keeps you going. (Aaron Windsor, Kyle Geib, Jason Arndt, my brother, etc.). Well, I'll talk about this in more depth when the time comes. Right now, for everyone, the spring is on its way and we should all be happy and thankful for that. January AKA Siberia month is almost over. Shwing!

I don't know where I'm headed. That's something to fear in my eyes. All these days spent at school, and all these nights spent at home. Where's life? Where's the destiny we all hope for?

Nothing is a car ride's distance away like it used to be.

If you want hope you have to be at the bottom of the barrel. If you want love, you have to not seek it. If you want euphoria, you have to let it come to you. Apparently nothing in this world can be found. Only it can find you.

I don't like that.

I like putting soul and effort into things and seeing my hard work rewarded even if it's just me noticing it. That's lovely stuff. But now-a-days you can't work that way...I guess. I just want to reach out and grab life because I WANT to, not because life just so happens to be ready for me. That's not how it should work.

So much beauty in this life and I just would like a piece of it, ya know?

Apparently this is the coldest week of the year. Good to get that out of the fucking way.

Anywho, so I've got a good story...well more or less a statement of opinion.

Here's the opinion: Anyone who drives a pickup truck/SUV, needs to constantly be somewhere...

Without a doubt, this has more promise than your dad's combover. Why? Cuz it's true.

I was at a stoplight just minding my own. Then this whore pulls up next to me...just inching forward even with the green left arrow on...I knew she was going to pull off.

Low and behold, the light turns green and she just slams that inline 6 into D hauls off.

I didn't even bother trying to beat her to the merge. And this isn't just one time, this happens all the time to me where people just jet off the line to nowhere...majority of the time just to another red light...

Later on that day I heard she died from a car accident, the steering column was shoved into and through her fucking skull.

Brrrr...

I swear it gets colder everyday. Just enough to make me notice it more.

Today was a pretty lazy Sunday. Woke up in AJ's bed, rolled out, walked home, cleaned, played guitar, did homework, and typed a bit of my English paper.

I guess I'll never know a real decent way to spend a Sunday. I don't know if anyone does.

But I was thinking about something today when I was cleaning my bathtub. About friendships.

Why do they fade away?

My conclusion was this: Many people can click with each other, sometimes too much, sometimes too little, and sometimes just perfectly. For any of those, relationships can be made. However, when problems arise in friendships where the two can't agree, it's up to those two people to fix it. We're given the opportunity to live and love one another with our similar qualities, but we can't really expect for everything to be perfect between one another. And that's where I think sometimes you do in fact, need to fight to save relationships. They can't just be dropped...and if they can be, then it wasn't meant to be. But I believe every relationship whether it be a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship or just a friendship, has a chance to be saved. You just gotta show the extra effort sometimes. After all, nobody's perfect.

I'm not sure, but it seems so adventurous.

And plus, think of all the places I can travel to for writing!

But I think I'd like to work for a magazine company, not some newspaper crap or anything that just feeds people bullshit...

I want to be able to represent a common idea or a common "thing."

That'd probably end up the most rewarding way in the long run and it would keep it interesting!

Wow, what a Monday? Today went by so quickly and I couldn't be happier about that. Homework was on the small side so that was also pleasing. So I kind of realized that I'm now a sophmore in highschool, and I am slowly seeing how fast its going by. Which is why I'm trying to do as much as I possibly can because I have a pretty good feeling that college is going to be filled with work! Of course it'll be fun, but come on, anyone who goes to college is also going to tell you it's full of many things to do.

But hey what is life without a little bit of a challenge here and there.

Wow, what a busy Sunday. It actually felt nice, considering I finally realized work will never actually be "fun". I just make it fun by itself. Like today for example, Target was really busy, call buttons going off left and right. Somehow though, we managed to laugh at how many things we had to do and in reality I think that really can lighten the mood...just laughing at it. So I kind of stuck with that for the past couple of weeks and it seems to be working nicely.

I may have a good stack of homework, or I may have a long shift to work, but if I just take a step back and laugh, it doesn't seem so bad. : )

Well, I apologize for lack of updates, I know a bunch of you guys used to check back daily, and I guess I would like you to know that you can start doing that from now on. If keeping people tuned in about my week makes them feel better, then hey, I'll do this no problem.

To be honest with you, I thought I was immature for having a blogspot when I got mine. I mean I had always looked up to Evan's, Jake's, Kyle's, and Anna's but I never figured mine would actually catch attention or even be considered cool.

Well, apparently a few friends I know like my blog, they enjoy seeing how my day goes and occasionally seeing what I've got to say.

However, I feel slightly pushed aside due to the fact now everyone has one. I didn't get a blogspot to piss and moan about my day, and then go rant about how wise I am or give some little shit and inciteful quote that will make me famous one day. I just said what I wanted to, and made sure that I always was true to what I said.

I'm an opinionated person, I've been that way since about the 6th grade. I like being an individual, seeing everything for itself and not as a group. That's half the reason you'll never see me stereotyping someone, but I just can't stand the fact that people are now getting blogspots to in some way "steal the spotlight," that I guess created. I really could care less if they had blogspots, but when they almost go out of their way to mimic me...that gets my blood flowing. Who are you?

Ask Kyle, I look up to him a lot, and I even took A LOT of characteristics from him, I'll admit that no problem. Did I try and BE him, no. There is only room for one of ourselves, not two, and the best part of life is that you can do what you want when you want...(Technically)

Go out, enjoy life, write on your blogspot, but just because you add a couple of wise quotes here and there, doesn't make you the Dali Lama himself.

It's great to see such incite in people...but lets be honest... who did you learn it from and who are you trying to prove/become?

And unlike most people on this fucking website who will tell you to appreciate everyone, and don't be mean to friends, and go out and live your life, I've got a fucking life...I live it everyday, and I don't want anyone else living my life.

Come along for the ride but don't take my seat.

Oh my gosh, funniest, most random night ever. And of course, random is a good thing.

So today, after school, I didn't have much to do, went to the bank, did some errands, and hung with AJ for a bit. After that I headed to Mandy's to hang out with her.

We ended up going to T-Bell and had quite a buffet of food. mmmmmmmm

Anywho, after I had dropped Mandy off, Emily and I met up and we picked up Cameron.

That's when the hilarity of the night really picked up...and I still laugh when I think about it.

We were at Emily's for awhile...just chilled, and laughed like no other. I pulled my pants up high, Cameron, turned his around backward...it was a grand old time.

So after leaving and unfortunately ending the beautiful monstrosity, we first dropped Cam off then me.

I was home for no longer than ten seconds and was back out the door to call Blake. We met up and called Leo to see if he wanted to go get something to eat...and here my friends is where "Night Fucker" occurs. Night fucker meaning - FUCKS UP YOUR NIGHT.

11:20 - Get picked up by Leo
11:30 - Eat at around the clock
12:30 - Get arrested for curfew with Blake and Leo

Of course I'm the first person asked to step out of the car...just about ready to piss my pants seeing as though I had two cups of coffee at Around The Clock. (perfect timing eh?)

I got searched, luckily for me, my crotch wasn't searched...haha but Leo's was!

So then of course, he cuffed my wrists, put them on MEGA TIGHT, and put me in the squad car...pftt...

Haha, then as Blake gets put in the first car, Leo asks to go in my car, and the officer asks "Do you have something against the other kid."

Leo goes "No, I just love this kid." (Being it my squad car)

I found that funny.

And I must say, the officers were friendly...but still...they arrested us for curfew? Let's be rational...

So we got our prints in the computer now, our faces on their cameras, and we're still living and laughing.

I don't care what anyone says. When I'm a senior, and I'm at a party with Blake and Leo, I can't wait to be like "Hey do you guys remember when we got arrested?"

The only reason I think I'm not mad at being arrested is because of the funny time I had before hand with Emily and Cameron.

I've got to say, I love my friends and the shit we do...

As If This Week Couldn't Get Any Worse

Aj, Alex, Cameron, Sam and I all walked to the water tower by Citgo today to sit on top and check out Crystal Lake...

We got there and were only on the water tower for a few minutes when we heard a cat meowing, loudly.

We all figured eh, it'll go away, just a stray walking around.

It grew louder and figured it was hurt or was stuck in the dumpster by the oil change place.

Aj, Sam and I climbed down and hopped the fence to give it a look.

There he was, Winston, sitting on a pepsi carrier in the dumpster.

After realizing he was in bad shape, I wrapped his bloody body in my sweatshirt and put him in a box. I pet him for the longest time, trying to get him to settle down, but he was out of it. He kept trying to get up and walk.

My mom picked me up and took me to the 24/7 animal emergency over by randall.

The only thing they really said was that it'd be easier on Winston to put him to sleep. Apparently it would cost thousands to heal him and even then he'd still be messed up for a long time. Too much pain...

I agreed...

He was the best cat I will have ever held for 20 mins.

I wore my bloody sweatshirt home...

Friday the 12th...

This has been the toughest week I've ever experienced.

So many things have happened in such little time, I feel overwhelmed by it.

I feel so many different emotions: Anger, sadness, happiness, and even compassion.

However, due to these radical emotions, I feel as if I can't control what I think.

Maybe I don't know what to think.

Today was a sad day.

And I want nothing more than to see a smile on Angie's face again.

Angie I want you to know I WILL always be here for you, just like you were there for me in the summer, when I needed your advice, when I need your guidance about you know who.

You never ceased to let me know that I could do it. That I had the ability to turn it around. And I appreciate that so much. Seeing you everyday before sixth period starts really brightens my day! You have such a happy personality that I don't know of anybody who wouldn't want to spend their lives with you in it! Ang, you are so special to me whether you know it or not, and I just want you to know I'm here.

To others, today was a changing day. I had to blow off two of my friends. I just couldn't do it tonight...

I can't go from the saddest I've ever felt in my entire life, to "happy-go-lucky, lets party" mode.

What I did was wrong, of course. But if you can honestly say you've never lied, you're a complete hypocrite.

I've known you for years, and yet despite my best efforts to comfort MYSELF, you tried to make it all revolve around you tonight, because you didn't get to "chill."

Well you know what, if you can't take a step back and let me have my space, my selfish space, then you aren't somebody I'd like to be around.

The feeling you get right after you take a test...a test you worried so much about, a test you studied so much for...

And you walk out of that classroom a rejuvenated person.

Today I couldn't have felt any better about walking out of my Trig test!

I mentally aced that sucker and hopefully my grade reflects that!

Anywho, today was simple. School, then work, then homework. Pretty dull but I can live with it.

Target is already getting set up for christmas and it's going to be intense soon!

And there is only one iTouch left at Target and I want it SO BAD!

grr....I'll have to wait...

I'm pretty notorious for laughing at my own jokes...so today at work Bailey and I were walking back from the backroom when a chair fell off one of the shelves and landed on the ground and a guest turned around and said

"Well, I don't know what happened, it just fell off!"

I turned to her and said

"Really, well that's alright, I'll get it."

Then she continued

"No, I mean, I really have no idea how it just fell?"

And without even thinking, while putting the chair back, I said

"Ah I see, it must have been the Holy Spirit!"

(most people know I'm agnostic so...)

Now, not till 30 seconds later did I realize the hilarity of that and how badly she could have taken offense to that! I dropped to my knees in laughter.

I'm so glad she didn't care!

So I drove all the way out to MCC to realize it's at the MCC "University Center" in Downtown Crystal Lake.

Yeah, I was mad.

All that driving around for nothing and now I have to reschedule for another day...

Three Day Weekend

It's been awhile I know. I'm starting to see this as more of a hassle than it is to be something fun.

Let's be honest, I don't have amazing days every day. For the ones that I do have, that's when it's most interesting.

However, on the flip side, I love using this because I love writing. Anything and everything, even though Anna and I both know I make many run-on's, it's still enjoyable.

Just being able to put what you want out there and have faith in those statements is something magical. It's the internet, it's technology, it's sometimes nerdy. But I like it that way...

Apparentely a lot of my friends are getting blogspots. Yeah, everyone know's they're cool as EV-uh!

Anywho, good luck to them and with saying what they will.

Pumpkin Spice Latte's Rule!

Money, the root of all evil.

I can't stand it.

Today's environment is too obsessed with money. It's unfortunately true.

We need it obviously, but now it has become a necessity for people's happiness which we all know, isn't real happiness
When we don't have enough money, we say we can't pursue the hobbies and things we like to do most...but here's the fun everyone is missing.

For example, when I save for a new guitar, it's not the best time, but the adventure is half the fun! Working for it and finally getting the money feels like an experience and it also feels like an accomplishment! How swell it is to feel that!

Money works for humans, humans don't work for money.

That's the way I see it : )

Lindsey's Car and Free Gas

Have you ever wished you were good at something?

For me its song writing. I wish I could write songs, lyrically, as good as Chris from Dashboard Confessional.

He explains the greatest detail in songs and can honestly make me feel the emotions in the song.

That is how much I appreciate his work. However, when I get to sitting down and writing, I can't make it poetic enough...I'm not good at that. I will go back and read what I wrote and laugh at the dumb things I put down.

And I even have friends who can do it well! Mr. Sauciuc sure can! He's really good at it!

I wish I could do it too!

Maybe I should take music theory.

Well anyway, my day was pretty hysterical...seeing as though it was spent with Venable and Cameron

So my plan was that I was going to fix Lindsey's headlights on her car but I needed to make sure Napa couldn't figure it out first. We cruised over there to meet the friendly guy Lindsey and I had saw before, only this time Cameron came with!

That proved no use so we jetted over to Cameron's to play some Wii. It was my first time...and wow, I loved it. I will rock your socks off in Wii bowling...oh man.

And after the hilarity of that, Lindsey and I cruised to my house to have my dad fix it. 20 mins later she realizes its all due to the fact that she didn't turn her knob on her lights far enough...so they didn't come on...and now they do!

I laughed...keenly.

So homecoming was this weekend. It was pretty intense I must say.

There was that Friday, with school being mega easy, the pep rally, block party, parade and game that night!

Who could have asked for more.

On Saturday I finally got an opportunity to just chill...and I mean chill.

AJ and I hit up a thrift store where I bought my new chair for my basement, and there I sat for...oh who knows...three to four hours watching Band of Brothers. Holy crap, that IS my favorite show from that day forward. So intense and realistic! Not to mention the cinematic way the camera's are enhanced is crazy!

So then obviously that night was homecoming where I danced like I've never danced before...by myself half the time. When that Shout song came on, Jake, Cameron, Jackie, Lindsey and I all danced our friggin feet off. Plus there were also the other few who all also joined in but didn't see due to my constant moving of my head and feet.

After words, homecoming was followed up by some hangage at Alli's and then off to bed at Buffo's house later on.

Here I am on Sunday typing this and have only been home from work for a good two hours.

I must say though, Life Is Good right now.

Well, this is unfortunate.

High school is back to how it was last year.

Waking up near minutes before my alarm even goes off, going to bed at 12 or 12:30 because of homework, working till close on weekdays, homework in every class...everyday, constantly cold.

Ah, I tried pretty hard to avoid all of this but it kind of collapsed anyway.

I'm not sure if it's just me or something, but it seriously gets on my nerves. I just want to go to school, and end it when it ends...at 2:50. I don't want school running my life...like how it is now.

But I've come to realize it's all mental. I've got to change the way I think, therefore my actions will reflect my thoughts, and if they're positive, like I try to make them, then it should work out.

I must say, my grades are improving...but I still have a little bit of road to follow.

Anyway, besides that, life has been pretty cool. But since I've been pretty busy it's been hard to update this sucker.

PR football game today.

Today was nice. We had early release so that was pretty relaxing.

I came home and immediately went to Matt's for band practice.

After that Josh and I went for a walk in his park. It's a nice park actually...full of flowers.

I've been having a hard time these past couple of weeks, so today I treated myself to a new skateboard deck. Something that I've been looking into for a good year.

Skateboarding to me has always been there for me. It's not a "sport" sport. Nobody told me to go do it, I just loved it from the beginning, and it's something a lot of kids really don't do anymore...unless you go to south.

And I'm even happier now that we have a small skatepark going in near my house!

So I put together my skateboard today and went to work.

On break, Paul and I shredded it up and tried to hit a few gaps in the parking lot...

It was unsuccessful haha.

So my deck is an Eric Koston signature Girl deck. It's so tight that I even put clear grip tape on it.

It didn't really come out the way I planned (the air bubbles), but my neighbor owns a griptape company (Jessup) and I can get free griptape from him if I don't like the clear.

I've pretty much come up with the jist of highschool. Yes, the "jist."

So I've been out of my house since Friday and I've had no computer with photoshop on it so I just decided to wait until today to recap on my weekend.

Friday I had work and missed the what was apparently the game of the century at Prairie Ridge!

Cullen Fahey, who is now a legend, kicked the field goal to win the freaking game against Cary-Grove! Crazy!

Saturday I had work as well. Then after long hours of chiling at Buffo's place, we headed out to Mandy's where she was having a good old back to school party. Of course everybody had a great time and I really got a chance to talk to some good kids I hadn't seen all summer! You know who you are!

After THAT, me and four other righteous dudes slept at Buffo's house and pretty much crashed immediately...well, some of us.

I woke up at 6 and headed out to Wisconsin by myself for four hours. After plenty of thinking and driving while listening to Iron & Wine, I reached my uncles house where my family was already soaking up the fresh, Wisconsin air. The day was normal of course, filled with plenty of horse shoe games and food!

We even lit off a huge quantity of fireworks...which in Wisconsin, is a pretty common thing to do.

Monday, being today, I got home around 4ish, tried calling a few people back, but wound up going on a bike ride with Mandy. Then after I left Mandy's I drifted on over to AJ's on my bike.

AJ and I are still debating whether school is going to be good...or not.

I guess it's all about attitude and how you look at it. Perspective as they say.

But there are plenty of things that can get you down, and also things that can bring you up!

I'm sorry, but I have no wise words right now. I'm sooooo tired and I just need to lay down.

This week is going to be tough, so I'm sure I'll have something good to say soon.

Integrity.

It's what I live by and what I teach to people who will listen.

The ability to stand up for what you believe in when in the toughest of situations.

It's NOT acting on a wimb and doing what your instincts feel like doing.

Integrity is about avoiding violence, and yes, that includes verbal violence too.

For example: Today, while backing out of Downtown Crystal Lake's crazy parking spaces another woman on the other side of the street backed up at the same time...Well, we almost hit. I quickly slammed my car into drive to avoid the dent I should have faced, and waited for her to leave her space.

She drove by me, gave me a "what the fuck?!?!" and lifted her hand as if to flip me the bird She then sped off. I'm sure she was really set on going somewhere because she stopped at a stop sign that didn't exist to make a left hand turn? (Right in front of Genovese's)

However, as much as I wanted to exhale gruesome words from my mouth, I kept quite, and just gave a look.

There's your example.

It's something a lot of people don't really put up with. They say, "Integrity? Whatever, I have to say what I feel and hurt people's feelings and make sure that what I say is the rule!"

Some may relate this to our parents, because sometimes parents do lay down laws that need to be followed, and then they don't give their child one minute of objection or protest to these laws.

This is where I picked it up, from growing up a normal kid and not liking what I heard from my parents, I started with talking back. I soon realized at an early age that arguing like that gets you neither here nor there. So I changed my mindset when I realized, "Hey, I can say what I want and not get in trouble for it. I mean we're all entitled to our opinions!"

The idea is that we can all have our say in everything we do. If we don't agree, we create points and arguements to back up what we don't want. It's almost like evidence. Being able to support your point clearly with background information.

People these days, or even friends you know may start arguements that end in, "Well you're an (insert hurtful name or slur). bye!"

That's not very mature nor rational. Instead, these people should have taken a step back and said, "Well, I know what I want to say, and now I'll say it maturely."

However, sometimes its not always like that, and its your duty (with your new found integrity) to not in fact lash out at them, but to take that step back I mentioned, and rethink this situation.

DO NOT STOOP TO A LOWER LEVEL. While it is human to get mad, we can find ways around it. One's that won't hurt us in the future.

I mean, you could be talking to the most unintelligent person on the earth and if you still call them a name you're just as good as they are.

I try using this everyday of my life. When I come across a problem, I don't think with my mouth, I think with my brain. What's great about integrity is that everyone can use it...even stubborn people. All they have to do is just relax, if only for a second, and take time to analyze what it is they wish to withstand whether its an arguement, a problem with a friend, peer pressure, or anything that could possibly involve unnecessary involuntary actions! ahhh!

We are all here to live and love each other. And we want to live life as smoothly as possibly with no bumps nor burnt bridges.

Practice integrity, let your voice be heard, compliment the ones you love, and try to be the "bigger" person this time, because sooner or later, we'll all be the BIG people, in the sometimes not so BIG world.

Well, well, well.

Summer has come to an end. Our break is over...and now it's time to go back to work...

To some its a good thing, and some its a bad one.

To be honest, this summer was great. I met plenty of new people. Some who I'm glad to have met, and others not so much. I've realized that I can't be like my idols. I can't follow their paths and expect to appreciate the same things they do. I just have to be me and nobody else. While sometimes I will wish that I had done somethings different this summer, I'll still find many ways to appreciate this summer.

I got my job at target, received my license after 16 years of impatience, met a girl, and realized that life is what you make it, not what take and let into it.

Most importantly, I believe I grew up. To me, I'm a lot more mature than I was. Past arguments seem childish, and my mindset and goals are new.

However, in between all this growing, I feel as though I missed something. It seems like I was supposed to do something more important with my summer, rather than take a relaxing break from school...

Was I supposed to donate to something, attend church every weekend, meet someone important, talk to a wise man, have my life changed?

Because honestly, my life didn't change, it just expanded. And I must say I'm content with that completely.

Some thing's missing, and I'm not sure what...but like they say, getting "there" is half the fun, and maybe when I find what I'm missing it won't seem so empty.

I just want to thank everyone who came into my life this summer, whether I became closer with you, or you just met me, because those are the people who really made my summer what it was.

Oh, and a special shout out to Lindsey for letting my vent on the phone with her, I couldn't have appreciated that more!

I think everyone deserves a special shout out in their own way...if you think you deserve one, let me know!

For now, I'm going to go cherish the rest of my hours...

Goodbye summer, I guess I'll be seeing you this same time next year...so until then...

Today was a break for me. No soccer and no work.

I wound up having Alex over all day and we went and purchased my first effects pedal for my guitar...

A digital delay pedal.

I'm in love with it, even if it did cost me more than I had wished to spend on it. It truly helps me get the sound I want out of my amp and guitar. (Hit a note, and the pedal delays it on the amp with echoing the note until it fades out...it's hard to explain, but very cool!)

So we fussed around with that for a good three hours or so, and wound up going to Borders to sit and read.

I've got a book I intend to buy called Live What You Love, but I'm going to wait till next pay period...that pedal destroyed my wallet...

After words I stayed at Mandy's again with Megan this time, and fell asleep quick, as usual.

All in all, it was the best, last, summer, saturday that I could have hoped for.

One more day, and I have to hit the books and so do some of you!

I went to the Globus today to see Before Summer Ends play and a few other bands.

To be honest, I forgot one of the names, and the other I can only pronounce and not spell. (Juh-Deed)

All of the bands were great and loud might I add haha.

However, shows like this, always seem to inspire me and there are days where I question if that's the life I wish to live; to play music forever.

It's a hard life, one that may not be for me though...

It's been awhile since him and I have actually skated and since fall is rolling around I'll probably be getting more into it.

It's something about skateboarding that's so relaxing...and yet cheerful. The culture of it makes it cheerful.

We hit up McDonalds and then Mandy's to use Justin's old board. (Mine is destroyed)

Later on I had work and that consumed my day, but if you see below, that doesn't really matter!

First soccer game today.

We lost 2-0.

Yeah, it was rough seeing as it was my first game, but I can't complain. I played a lot and had a great time playing mid-field. Joel, Ryan and me were just going balls to the wall, so to speak, and were playing as agressive as we could. So that contributed to a good hit here and there.

Afterwords, I went to another fun Freshman party. I've got to say we've got some really cool kids coming in and I hope I meet more of them. I'm trying to be the nice guy to the freshmen, unlike the sophmores, juniors, and seniors were to us last year.

I guess that's just highschool, but still, you can always choose to be a nice person!

I got up at 8 from Mandy's and worked till 12:30. To be honest it wasn't that bad. Mainly because the people I work with really make it a lot more fun than it should be!

After that I came back to my house to eat, then off to Mandy's again to hang with herself and her brother. (Justin leaves tomorrow for college!!!)

It's going to be a sad thing not seeing Justin around the house anymore. He's like the brother I never had, even though I do have one, Justin just acts more like one than my own.

I've got to say, he's taught me a lot over the years, and I couldn't have appreciated it more.

However, he'll be back in October, and we'll just have to hang out then!

Anyway, I've got quite a problem.

With this whole soccer thing, I've been working and practicing at the same time. The answer to your question is YES; They do conflict and violently!

Unfortunately, you can't always have your cake and eat it too, and this is the reason why I must quit soccer. I hate just typing that. Why? It means thats one more thing I had to give up on...

One more thing I'll never experience, and one more thing I won't be able to put down on a college application.

My job is a necessity. I have to pay off the $900 camera I bought to even make this whole blog work, my car insurance which is around $500, my gas (monthly around $150), $140 to my mom for my soccer equipment...

I'm not going to let you into my savings account, but I'll be honest, I'm pretty broke, and I don't have money for this up coming month. My job is the only thing that will supply me that.

If Mr. O'Leary would like to pay my insurance and gas and everything else, then I'll totally play soccer. So SORRY for being thrown into the REAL WORLD at 16 Coach. Which by the way confuses me, because you aren't my actual coach, yet you care so much about me missing a JV practice?

If sports is EVERYTHING you base your morals off of in life, well then, I feel sorry for you.

And you know what? That statement goes out to anyone who judges character that way.

Just go ahead and call me immature, and go ahead and call me a teenager, but you know what, I have the right to make mistakes, and if this is a mistake (picking my job over soccer) then I'll realize that. But for now, lay off. You know nothing.

Well, this day isn't actually over, but I'm posting early because I've got a few things going on tonight that I know will require me getting home late.

So here it is:

I worked today, but immediately after had Meet The Teams. It was cool seeing all the summer teams all together, but in reality there isn't much to it. Just a huge gathering of kids to recognize the athletic season. It's good for parents though!

Then after I went to Sam's club to MISS the freaking pom team dance...I'm so mad at myself, I drive too slow.

However, I stayed and got some pictures of this band...They were REALLY good.

A mix between AAR, Hellogoodbye, and At The Drive-In. Don't ask how that works, but those bands definitely sound familiar to their style.

If there's one thing I hate more than liars, it's people who gossip.

While we all do it, some people do it to ultimately put others down and make themselves feel better.

To narrow it down even more, it's when friends talk smack about their own friends.

I've got to say, I get mad at even my friends sometimes, but if I'm ever discussing something about a friend of mine with another friend, I don't make shit up. I say WHAT I feel and I don't put words or actions in my friend's mouth. Usually I'll come out and just tell my friends what's up, but usually I have to talk it through with someone else just to know if what I'm thinking is right.

I'm definitely not perfect and I don't try to be, so when people I dont talk with go and say things that don't match with my personality or who I am, I just don't care about it. I already know who I am. But when it IS someone who knows me, then nothing else makes me more sad or disappointed.

You think to yourself, "Wow, I really never thought that could be said about me."

Or what's even worse is when you find out just by simple actions and conversations.

Simply, you see it, yet noone needs to tell you it.

It makes me feel like I did something wrong to damage the friendship. Sometimes I look inside myself to see if it was something I did, and usually I can pick it out whether it was mine or it wasn't. But if people you call friends can't even deal with even your slightest faults, then they weren't meant to be your friends.

Friends are what they are. They're there for you. They'll pick you up when you're down, but you have to remember, that sometimes they get mad too. And they'll let out their anger with it. Sometimes altering stories they heard from others. True friends will talk about you, and true friends will stab you in the back, but you know what, you most likely will do it too, and I can honestly say there is no shame in that, it's just human.

However, I just wish people would point out actual faults, rather than MAKE UP your faults...

There's nothing wrong with constructive criticism, but there is something wrong with lying.

There are many a person who have done me wrong and have done you wrong too, but I'll stay friends with them and so will you, because really, we're all we got.

I want to travel to far and distant places

Seriously, if I could get paid to do anything besides photography, it would be to travel!

Think of all the places you can go, and the people you can meet!

The culture shock will change your life, unless of course that traveling is done right here in America...you're already here.

You can go to England and have a blast just riding the tube all day!

Or you can ship off to India and walk the sandy coastal beaches and dream of where you're off to next!

Not to mention the places you'll see, but just getting there will be half the fun. Planes, trains, cars and boats!

Nothing will ever have to be consistent and everything you do can be new. How refreshing?

Maybe it's just me, but the idea of a good road trip, cruise, or flight to Europe would be pretty kickarse!

I wish I could go back to the first day of summer and relive it all over again.

I got dropped off by Josh. Went to Little Johns as accustomed to, and then of course had something completely random to due before my summer officially started...a guitar lesson.

Summer however has been a great time. Very relaxing but also very fast. Maybe that's a good thing though?

I've come to appreciate my friends a lot more, and I know that Sophmore year won't be as bad now that I've got my friends to watch my back. (And hopefully they know I've got theirs too.)

But while this may be a start to a great year, I also have great anxiety and fear. Besides supporting a job and social life, I've got soccer and academics to worry about. Maybe it's just me but that's going to be very difficult considering I'm not very organized nor do I ever have a good game plan.

Any tips?

I finally put my bike back together today and took a break from driving my car!

It felt great to have the wind back in my shirt and the FREE-dom of not paying for gas.

Anxiety. Stress. Worrying.

Why is it that we do or carry such things around with us each day in our lives?

Many people will argue that one will lead to another. For example, worrying a lot will lead to stress and too much stress will lead to anxiety attacks.

The problem that many people face is that they can't get themselves out of these states. Some people smoke weed, others do yoga, some meditate, and others purchase their happiness.

Is there a natural, and non-narcotic substance that can relieve stress. Is there a person to speak with, a place to venture to, or a book to read?

I'd like to think it's through the realization of love. That fact that we can talk to ones we love. We can talk to ones who understand our habits and actions. The people we love and who love us back usually relieve our stress, well at least mine.

Well, I took quite a drive today.

Today Buffo, Mandy, Megan, Annie and I all went to Annie's lakehouse.

Let's just say I'm drained from so much tubing! I've got to say I really got whipped this one time and pretty much ate it in the water.

When it was time for Buffo and I to leave we made it back to Woodstock within a half hour but then spent an extra 20 minutes trying to get to Hillside Road by our highschool.

We both got home and like said, I'm tired.

I'm done training at Target.

I am now officially working at Target! Whoo hoo!

Today was chill, basically sat around and then had work.

I always enjoy the days where I can sit around and literally appreciate not being in school, but I have to look out because summer is coming to a close!

Today was full of driving. All over Crystal Lake actually.

I wrapped up my night with a stop at the Biner's with Annie for Grandma Pearls birthday!

Congratulations to her for turning 89! You know what they say, "The older, the wiser"

I hope I get to live long enough to where I'm as wise as Albus Dumbledore. That man's a genius.

P.S. I bought a pair of samba classics. The top ones are mine, and the bottom are Megan's. Look at those beauties in the top though...hehe.

Today, I floated around and just ate.

I watched plenty of That 70's Show and went to work.

The first day was awesome and I feel as though it won't be bad at all here!

The people are friendly, and most of them have great a sense of humor...(I'm really sarcastic so...)

Then I spent the night at Buffo's house, where the funniest most gruesome pictures were taken...

Mandy's brother, Justin, had a graduation party which of course was off the chain!

We all had plenty of laughs and stayed up till 4 just eating egg rolls...well Mike, Alex and I were anyway.

However, I was drained from the lack of sleep!

This was quite a night to remember!

I realized a really happy thing today.

Have you ever met someone at random, or while doing a task?

Well today, after flaking out in Barnes and Noble with Lindsey, we headed over to Napa for some windshield wipers for her car.

Anywho, while checking out the selection, this radical dude asked "Do you know what size you need?"

And of course I had no idea and neither did Lindsey, but of course this guy was rad enough to come help us

He even came outside, installed them, and made some small talk with us.

And like I said, I realized, that people like him, the people you meet at random, are sometimes the best people to meet. They're real, they're alive!

I can't help but love meeting people, whether I wanted to meet them on purpose or just unintentionally meet them.

We need more people like this radical auto guy

Sometimes, I love just being a weirdo!

Target was good today, I'm so amped for my new job! I even got a few free things today!

The little target dog is sitting on my dash! It's amazing!

I also changed my oil today, after successfully getting it in my eye as well.

What a great day?

btw, I have no photoshop on my computer in my room...stinks.

Today I lounged around for quite some time.

Finally got dressed and decided it be necessary to grill hot dogs at AJ's.

Afterwords we headed to guitar center to get a quote on my les paul custom...

Pft...they estimate my guitar is worth 250 dollars. They won't even trade in my 600 dollar Les Paul for a brand new 374 dollar Telecaster...what a joke?

Anyways, after that I dropped AJ off and headed out with Megan to her brothers baseball game.

Ryan, her brother, scored the winning run for a come-from-behind victory!

To polish the night off we had taco bell at Megan's house.

Simple nights like these are the ones I will remember the most : )

I really have to say today was better than expected.

However, the day isn't really what matters to me right now.

I have an issue, as always, that I'd like to point out.

It's something you can actually discuss with me about because it directly involves me.

For those who know me, I can get depressed, I can get really happy, and I can get really mad.

I'm human. I have feelings too.

I was recently told that I "think everyone and everything is out to get me."

And I was also informed that many people believe this to be true.

I kind of laughed when I heard it because besides being so far from the truth, it was also somewhat close.

I blog. I blog about many things. Many things I CARE about. I never invited anyone to read my blogs. However, people do.

I'm a person who will confront you if we have a problem. Not physically, but I will call you out and ask you what the problem is...most of the time in person.

I don't complain. It may seem like it, but I really don't. Putting your feelings on the internet is an extremely daring thing because people will judge you whether you are black, white, happy or sad.

I vent. And I enjoy people watching me vent because I believe it let's them know that they aren't alone. That I get mad, happy, and sad too.

So please, I'm asking you, if you pay attention to my blogs, are you following along to pick out my flaws, or to go along for the ride?
